The ancient yogis recognized various aspects or layers of a person - from the outermost layer to an inner, deeper Self that they referred to as the 'kosas'. Like Russian dolls, one kosa encompasses another, and so on. The aim of yoga as taught by BKS Iyengar has the potential to guide us from the periphery, the body, to the center of our being, the soul. The aim is to integrate the various layers so that we feel a sense of harmony and balance from the outer periphery to the inner, serene core.

Morning - Active Asana Class – 10:00 am – 12:30(ish) pm
Break/Lunch 12:30-2:30 -Lunch/Hike/Swim/Rest
Afternoon Session -2:45-5:00 pm – Discussion/Restorative/Pranayama
