Osteoporosis, literally porous bone, is a disease characterized by low bone mass and a deterioration of the architecture of bone tissue.
Yoga, when practiced with awareness, provides a positive stress that stimulates bone remodeling and improves the absorption of calcium. Learn the science, practice the poses. This 6-week series includes presentation/discussion followed by practice. The Hybrid format allows for students to attend 2-In Person Classes and 4-Online, OR to attend Full Series Online.
Classes are recorded for students to practice with and for those unable to attend at the scheduled time.
